Alizée Thevenet made a rare solo appearance at the Longchamp Art Festival, embodying Parisian polish in a chic ensemble
Alizée Thevenet returned to her Parisian roots over the weekend, bringing her signature understated elegance to the opening of the Longchamp Art Festival. The Princess of Wales’s sister-in-law joined the fashion and art set in the heart of the Marais for a rare solo appearance in the French capital.
For the occasion, Alizée opted for an ensemble that was at once effortlessly chic and suitably artistic: a mini skirt, oversized white shirt and Longchamp croc-effect leather heeled boots. The look was a masterclass in Parisian polish, with the statement footwear lending a little edge to an otherwise classic silhouette.
Among those joining Alizée was Juliette Poupard Delafontaine, a fourth-generation member of the Longchamp family and the brand’s event director. Fashion, it seems, runs in the family: her grandfather, Philippe Cassegrain, designed the iconic Le Pliage bag, whilst her mother, Sophie Delafontaine, is Longchamp’s creative director.
