The Lane Kiffin era seems to have brought a new wrinkle to a storied LSU football tradition, the team’s walk down Victory Hill.

A week after Kiffin emerged from LSU’s team bus flanked by former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, influencer Brooks Nader and comedian Theo Von ahead of the Tigers’ opener vs. Clemson, he was joined by another group of Louisiana celebrities on Saturday.

This time, it was Louisiana native rappers Lil Wayne and Boosie, as well as former star LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu.

Kiffin’s arrival in Baton Rouge — and the controversies he’s stirred from the jump, from the fallout of his messy divorce with Ole Miss to the recently-ended attempt to add ex-pro players to LSU’s roster — has undoubtedly drawn more eyes to the program.

The coach’s debut game against Clemson reportedly prompted LSU to issue a record number of credentials.

Now, in what could be a weekly custom, celebrities are getting in the mix.
