Oct. 27 (UPI) — Apple TV is gearing up for the release of the new film Way of the Warrior Kid.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring Guardians of the Galaxy and The Terminal List actor Chris Pratt.
Way of the Warrior Kid is a feel-good family film based on the novel by retired Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, who also stars in the adaptation.
Pratt plays Jake, an injured Navy SEAL who teaches his bullied nephew Marc (Jude Hill) the “way of the warrior kid” while staying with Marc and his mom, Sarah (Linda Cardellini), for the summer.

“To help Marc defend himself, Jake devises an ambitious program he calls ‘Operation Warrior Kid’ based on his SEAL training. Instead of teaching his nephew how to fight, Jake shows Marc what real courage is, facing down his own demons along the way,” an official synopsis reads.
