Like the weird like griffs that the Kardashians did apparently that like a lot of us forgot about so this is again old video but I’ll have that pop up over here but I want to kind of go into and dive into the makeup side of it so recently Kim Kardashian finally

Announced that she was making her makeup line and essentially bringing it back now if you guys remember back in the day oh my God the trending like contouring by Kim and how all that just blew up overnight I’m talking about like the Contour sticks then she released other

Things like lipsticks and there was just many other products in general that she made that some people were like absolutely obsessed with however after a while she decided to kind of close everything down now this whole line kind of ranged from makeup she also had perfumes as well if you guys don’t

Remember I actually smelled some of them and I actually I thought they were quite good not bad okay I but again here and there I I’m very wary of a lot of Kardashian things in general ever since then though I know Kim released her skims company which is absolutely

Incredible so far for what we can see so she shut down the actual kkw Beauty which is what it originally called and there was many other products that a lot of people loved but there also was some slight controversies with the products in general some people talked about how

It was extremely overpriced for what you were getting how certain things like brushes and whatnot weren’t really that quality and just a lot of things that you typically see with quite frankly Kardashian Brands so in August of 2021 the brand actually officially shut down and it wasn’t kind of very on there was

Many speculations as to why it was being shut down so for example one of them was she kind of wanted to like switch up The Branding and make it a little bit better and improved and also because with the divorce from Kanye she wanted to remove

The Kim Kardashian part of it and make it to where it’s like strictly just her I know also she did apparently want to change up things like formulation quality and just overall how the products were made in general and just kind of revamp it into a better way now

I actually remember I know Kylie Jenner actually did this for a very short period where some products and things were kind of taken down and revamped and repackaged and made to be quote better but again like this is kind of took way this took way longer pretty much than

What we expected from her and we honestly for hot second didn’t really know if she was actually going to bring back kkw Beauty again or just the makeup stuff in general so here’s the thing recently she just finally said that she’s bringing it back okay and so with

It being brought back I actually want to kind of talk about skin by Kim just in general and then dive into some of the reviews and things that people are talking about with this new makeup lunch because I’m telling you right now there’s some things that are happening

That I like I’m I’m not very impressed I’m just going to keep that that way okay all right so I’m going to be showing you guys on the screen what we are seeing when it comes to skin by Kim So originally skin by Kim actually started off with skincare products so I

Want to dive into the skincare to show you guys how I personally think this is a hot mess so she dropped skin by Kim and there was different collections that were around skincare so for Kim Kardashian and a skincare brand I’m going to be honest with you here I am

Not very keen on Celebrity skincare Brands there’s only a very select few that I actually love and that’s because I genuinely think like the quality in ingredients are good the pricing is good Etc but with this I’m sorry I think it’s just absolutely insane to me and I feel

Like skin is going like Kim is going into a way of trying to like make a luxury brand but I just like I don’t get the vibe that it is luxury in a way it appears to be but I just don’t think that it would be of quality enough to be

Considered luxury or worth spending this much money so if you actually scroll throughout the website you guys can see mini face Duo set the complete collection originally $673 but it’s $575 so I’m going to actually go through what is all even in this it’s a cleanser exfoliator toner

Hyaluronic acid serum vitamin C8 serum eye cream face cream oil drops and night oil so that’s a decent amount of products but that is a ton of money to them of course you can go through and there’s more products like a resurfacing mask you can get a treatment brush for

The mask and that brush is $30 which I am quite positive just my opinion but quite positive I could probably get that brush for $5 and I would not need to do that at all cuz so honestly quite frankly I think you’re just paying for the name face cream is $85 and again

Like peace and love just saying when has Kim been like a skin professional or like a super like I’m obsessed with skincare let me tell you about it I just think that like I and again so far while I’m scrolling through this I personally believe and again this is just my

Opinion do with that what you will but I feel like in a way skims has been a great success and I think she started realizing that being able to cover all grounds and being a universal go-to spot is beneficial so for example with skim she’s coming up with more kids clothing

And men’s pieces which is technically smart she doesn’t offer like just like like underwear she doesn’t offer just like bodysuits and Basics like she offers a wide range of products and so I think with this new production of skim by Kim I think she’s going for that

Route where she wants to cover all bases and that’s why she called it skin because anything can go on your skin when it comes to Beauty I’m betting my left hit she’s going to come out with body products I am so betting she’s going to come out with more makeup like

Body oils I think that she’s going to come out with like other like cream based products ey Shadow like I think she’s going to have the most broad range of products possible that can be all over like I think even she’s going to go as far as like you know Kylie’s skin

Where she has like bath bombs and bubble bath like I think she’s going to try and Venture off to anything like that and I even think she would even Venture off into the candles world to like you know what I mean like the Spa self-care candle I think she would try and step

Into every little Avenue because it makes sense having a big variety like that and if it all looks very aesthetically pleasing people are going to be more inclined to buy it and there’s something for everyone and I’m going to be H like this is so Random

This is just my two cents on this but with me looking at this as well I feel like the approach almost reminds me of how multi-level marketing companies approach their brands and their companies okay so hear me out on this one I know this might sound a little

Silly but he hear me out okay I talk about multi-level marketing companies mlms like Avon Monae Mary Kay Arbon all those kinds of companies okay multi-level marketing where you can start with a starter kit you purchase a starter kit you join in you sell a products or you recruit people into

Selling the same I cover them all there’s studies to show they’re awful companies okay argue with your mom not me please like I I have way many other videos to prove my points on here you could definitely go and refer to those what I’m thinking of is a lot of mlms

Will and like I know she’s not not an MLM but I think the approach of the product doesn’t matter as long as I have variety is what is being used we have seen companies that have come out that are multi- marketing companies and it’s not necessarily about if they offer a

Quality product sometimes it’s just about having variety and something that anybody can purchase and being kind of like a anyone can buy for me there’s something for all people and I feel like it’s kind of in a way going to be just thrown out there and priced in a way of

That it’s just you’re buying the name you’re not actually buying something that is truly life-changing or amazing now again one thing I’m going to completely say is skims is good I have seen really good variety quality like there’s so many collections she’s dropped I’m like oh my God I love that I

Love that but I think with the skin we see so many celebrity makeup skin care and Body Care Brands we see that all the time we see so many celebrity fragrances and I think she’s trying to push the illusion and perspective of quality and

Luxury but I think at the end of the day you’re just paying for the name and it’s just pumping out products cuz she can’t and not necessarily because it’s a passion product you see what I’m saying I don’t know those are just my two scents and theories I could be

Completely wrong but that’s kind of the feeling I’m getting of like ooh let’s put my name on here and make it pretty and Tada you know what I’m saying I don’t know like I just don’t personally believe that she’s using her cleanser when she probably is going to go to her

Dermatologist and get recommendations and facials and things like that and she doesn’t have to think about a skincare brand again a hyaluronic acid serum for $90 sounds unreal I use hyaluronic acid I love it cuz it’s really hydrating hyaluronic acid is amazing I’ve buy from the ordinary though it’s really good

There’s also many other brands out there that are probably more expensive I’m going to show you guys a couple of examples that I found to kind of show you that you’re probably spending like for the name and that’s kind of about it or even a vitamin C8 serum $90 that’s a

Little bit wild or an exfoliator some of these exfoliators are so expensive and for no damn reason or the toner like oh my God and don’t get me wrong everyone can purchase whatever they want that makes perfect sense like if you want want to try it or go for it by all means

I’m just saying for a lot of the like average Everyday People I wouldn’t want to go for a Kardashian skin care but again this is kind of what she started off with but now let’s jump into the current topic which is the makeup so going into the makeup this is her first

Launches that she’s creating so we have a soft matte lip which is $32 per and then we have a lip liner which is 22 and a classic Matt eyeshadow palette so this is where kind of me more controversy is happening and other topics about just skin in general is resurfacing so when

People and other influencers were being given PR packages some of them were kind of looking at it and comparing them to the old kkw beauty product now many other people who purchase the product all all like all on their own or receive them we’re kind of making very similar

Comments that the eyeshadow palette which is $55 is extremely similar to Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist Mario who has his own skin like his own makeup line now if you don’t know who Mario is oh my God incredible makeup artist I would watch so many tutorials as much as I

Physically possibly could and I learned so much from him because he’s just he has a really really good makeup artist and he made his own makeup line because I mean that would kind of make a lot of sense for him he’s literally a makeup artist he’s been dedicated to that that

Has been his thing so he wanted to offer a lot of things that would be up to his standard I would say and also something that he would use on his clients and it makes so much sense he uses his products on his clients I’ve seen amazing reviews

On the on on his products like I am honestly whenever I’m I need to run out of all my makeup first before I go purchasing more cuz I’m very adamant about using what I buy but when I can I do want to actually go out of my way to

Purchase for Mario because so much of his products are so highly reviewed and amazing but look at the Mario palette versus the Kim K palette a lot of people were like that’s kind of interesting how it looks apparently really similar now I’m going to be honest a neutrals

Palette is not revolutionary we see that all the time okay we see that very consistently I think it’s kind of like it’s been there done that like we’ve seen it so often I don’t know why that would kind of be your like something you would want to release cuz you see that

All the time right like I would want to look into to maybe like a Plumping lip gloss or something that would like make more sense or offer like a again colorful gloss that’s Plumping a two in one I think that’s an awesome idea or maybe looking into other products that

Would make more sense for her as like a busy Mom I would assume that she would honestly approach more creativity in the way of finding something that’s more unique in the beauty space but I’m not seeing that whatsoever and other people actually did uh try some of the products

I will have some videos pop up over here to show you some people were kind of having some mixed emotions like they thought it was good but they thought like that was kind of it like there wasn’t anything exceptional or revolutionary and it was quite pricey actually okay Kim Kardashian released

Skinned by Kim so I spent $78 on three products so let’s review this and it better be good I got two lip liners got nude five and nude N9 let’s try nude five first so far this formula is actually pretty creamy the formula reminds me a lot of like the morphe lip

Liners but like 17 times a price I’m going to tell you just now these are not worth it but she can still redeem herself with the lipsticks Kim was gone for a very long time overall I wasn’t obsessed with this launch I really hope the next one is better cuz this just

Wasn’t giving Kim what is going on I spent $118 on two of Kim Kardashian’s new lip products I will say I am already slightly annoyed because the shipping was $30 and it came 2 days late we have a stunning photo of Kim Kardashian on the wrapping paper then you lift it up

And our two products are here oh I’m afraid she ate oh my God wait do I think two lip products are necessarily worth $118 no cuz there’s so many good options but I love like the texture of this it said matte so I was expecting like matte

Matte like you know like OG Kylie lip kit matte but it actually has like a nice Sheen maybe it’s cuz I had lip balm on underneath but it was so buttery and I actually love the finish I really thought this was going to be a negative

Review but I can’t I I can’t it’s good just work on your shipping girl that was crazy 15 shades of lip liners and the palette itself is $50 and there’s 12 shades in this I will say immediate First Impressions I do think it’s a little pricey skin is a higher end brand

So it kind of makes sense cuz the pricing would mirror the entire site I just do think that 22 bucks for a lip liner little expensive same with $3 something dollars for a lipstick I think that’s expensive so I think that they’re beautiful I really do I love the lip

Liners I think the lip liners for me is like the the thing like I love the lip liners here I think they’re beautiful I love the wooden pencil I think they’re creamy they’re really full coverage and they look really nice the lipstick I was expecting the original formula I like

Maybe it’s the marketing this campaign Kim Kardashian looks absolutely miserable in here and looks like she’s not excited about this makeup launch all I’m going to say it’s Kim Kardashian I love you Kim I think this is going to do well for you because your Kim it’s going

To sell out but I don’t think this is revolutionary and I don’t think this is going to build you into a billion dollar makeup brand so as we can see there’s some people who really like it some people kind of have mixed emotions some people are like M it’s a lip liner it’s

An ey shadow palette you know it is what it is and I’m not dogging on the fact that it isn’t of quality I’m honestly sure it is actually I think that Kim is probably one of the only people in the Kardashian family recently who is focused more on quality I would say with

Some other products and again I to me that’s the bare minimum y’all I know like wow an ey shadow palette that’s not dog woo I know bare minimum right but I still at the end of the day think it’s quite expensive maybe it’s a cash grab maybe it’s another way to push the

Billionaire status like there’s many speculations on it but overall with some of these products it just looks so Bland to me at this point so I’m want to talk about some of my final thoughts when it comes to this brand in general that I’m noticing many people are interested in

Purchasing and I’m going to be so real with you here I would personally if I were you I would not be going and purchasing unless I could try it out in Ulta or another brand like until they hit ult I would not risk it in my opinion because I wouldn’t want to go

And buy something so expensive that’s a Kardashian Brands they’re the ones with a bad track record because if I have to return it or it’s a waste of money I’m quite frankly going to be very agitated and pissed off I think there are so many other products that I actually will have

Pop up over here that are really good that I’ve actually used before that I would much rather use compared to a Kardashian brand and if anything I would recommend you go if you’re going to try a brand purchaser Mario he has got so many amazing products that I can see

Right now that I think a lot of you guys would like and it’s been out for longer so you can actually see reviews and Tik Tok reviews and other things that could show you that I think it’s really good I personally think that this is going to
