I personally think its up to the couple to agree on what they want to tell people. I understand both “we’re pregnant” and “my wife is pregnant”. It does take two people two make it happen, and in a healthy relationship they do end up sharing the child and the responsibility for it. But people are right when they say its only the woman who physically had the baby.
