Tate McRae was dripping in shimmering, liquid silver on the red carpet of the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday in Beverly Hills. The singer joined a bevy of guests at the post-Academy Awards event, including Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, newly minted Oscar winners Zoe Saldaña and Mikey Madison and more.
For the special red carpet occasion, McRae styled a custom look courtesy of Ludovic de Saint Sernin. The custom dress features Swarovski crystal mesh and silver metal mesh made entirely by hand in the French luxury fashion house’s atelier in Paris.

The look featured a semi-sheer element and included a dramatic thigh-high slit and plunging neckline with thin straps. McRae paired the dress with Rene Caovilla’s strappy sandal heels with similar shimmering silver elements as well.
As for accessories, the “Greedy” singer opted for a minimalist approach wearing delicate rings. When it came to her glam, McRae’s long auburn hair was styled with soft waves that cascaded past her shoulders. Her makeup included bold brows, a warm smokey eye and a glossy pink lip. McRae’s look was curated by stylist Brett Alan Nelson, who regularly collaborates with Doja Cat.

McRae wasn’t the only one on the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet who styled a look courtesy of Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Other stars who wore designs from the French fashion house include Emma Chamberlin, who wore Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Emily Ratajkowski and Louisa Jacobson.
McRae’s look for the evening also featured one of the hottest trends on the red carpet: sheer styling. Keke Palmer, Ciara, Julia Fox, Olivia Wilde and more stars put their own spin on sheer dressing for the post-Oscars party.
