Meghan Markle is making her much-anticipated return to our screens this week with her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
While fans can’t wait to see what she’s got in store, it’s set to be very different to her first show with the streaming giant, which was stuffed with royal drama, tears and insider secrets. The new eight-part lifestyle series is expected to be an extremely polished, structured show, which will see the royal and her new celebrity pals sharing cooking, gardening and hosting tips.
In contrast, her docuseries Harry & Meghan, which aired in 2022, was a fly on the wall set up capturing the couple at intimate moments as they dealt with family drama.

One of the most discussed moments caught on camera saw Prince Harry receive a message from his older brother, Prince William, shortly after their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Meghan can be seen chatting on the phone to their friend Tyler Perry – whose house the couple lived at when they first moved to the US. A worried Harry walks over and shows Meghan a message on his phone. Confused, Meghan asks: “What am I looking at?” before reading the message. She then replies with just one, stunned word: “Wow”.
The pair look at each other for a moment, before Meghan goes back to her call with Perry, saying: “H just got a text from his brother.” A distressed Harry puts his hands behind his head, saying: “I wish I knew what to do.” Meghan replies: “I know. Let’s take a breather. Get some air and then decide.”

She then stands up and wraps her arms around his waist, giving him a hug. The couple take a moment to embrace in silence, staring out the window – while the cameras continue to roll.
Despite mixed reviews, Harry and Meghan’s documentary broke streaming records and quickly became Netflix’s biggest ever documentary debut with a total 81.6 million hours watched on its first four days of release. It was also nominated for a host of TV awards, however missed out on any of the top prizes.
With Love, Meghan is set to feature a host of the duchess’ LA pals, including Mindy Kaling and her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. TV chef Roy Choi is also set to show off some dishes in the kitchen. Meghan has also invited make-up artist Daniel Martin – who was responsible for her wedding glam – to be part of the series.
The former royal’s lifestyle series was due to be released in January but was postponed due to the California wildfires. Announcing the postponement, the duchess said: “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
