BUT I will say that kids who have a parent that lives outside the home are more likely to prefer the parent that doesn’t live in the home. There’s usually fewer rules and more fun because that parent has them on weekends or days off and the custodial parent has to squeeze in fun around work, errands, school functions, chores, etc while trying to be attentive to the children. And when there’s more than one child, that makes it even harder.
Consider this, though. The fact that she has love for her dad means her mom isn’t bad mouthing him to her. That’s one pitfall mothers make is allowing their hate for the father to spill over onto the child. If he’s a danger to the child, that’s different. But honestly, considering his behavior as of late, his ideologies and behavior on social media is a danger to her.
