Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has always believed in making timeless fashion statements with her sartorial choices that lean more towards classics. Recently, she was spotted in New York City as she stepped out to enjoy a Broadway show. For her outing, she looked stunning as she kept it classic in a black blouse and a houndstooth print skirt.
Taking to her Instagram, Meghan Markle shared pictures from the evening. She wrote, “If you get a chance to see @gypsybway, you absolutely must. Congratulations to the tremendously talented cast and crew for creating magic on that stage. And meeting @audramcdonald for the first time last night…Her performance will leave you absolutely speechless. Full body chills. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house, and if the theater didn’t have to close for the night, the standing ovation would still be happening.” The pictures showed Meghan interacting with the cast and crew of the show. However, it was her OOTD that got the fashion enthusiasts talking.

For her New York outing, Meghan opted for a classic black and white colour palette that you can never go wrong with. She opted for a floor-length houndstooth pencil skirt from Carolina Herrera. She paired the skirt with a classic black blouse. The blouse came with a V-neckline and full sleeves, but Meghan had rolled the sleeves up to her elbows. For the accessories, she opted for some classic and heirloom pieces. She went with a gold Cartier Tank watch, which once belonged to her mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana. She also added her Cartier Love bracelet to the stack. She added a diamond necklace and diamond stud earrings to her look.
