Kate Middleton is bringing back one of the beloved accessories of the early aughts and it’s giving us major fashion nostalgia.

The Princess of Wales appeared in a new video released by Kensington Palace, sporting a statement baker boy cap as she showed off her off-duty style while speaking about the importance of getting outdoors.

The 43-year-old was bundled up in an autumnal-toned outfit that looked comfortable, casual, and chic as she strolled through nature. Middleton paired her green tweed cap with a matching-colored jacket and a camel turtleneck with tight-fitting pants and hiking boots.

The baker boy cap was once beloved by British style icons like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller in the early 2000s but has recently seen a revival thanks to Kendall Jenner. Now, with Middleton’s stamp of approval, can we officially declare the baker boy cap back?

Middleton’s new Kesington Palace video aimed to promote UK Scouts and the joys of being in nature. “I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection I suppose, these environments,” Middleton said in the clip.

“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world,” she said.

“What’s so fantastic about Scouts is that the same foundation has sort of always been there and despite how different the modern world is now, it still resonates with so many people,” Middleton said of the organization.
