A royal disagreement.

The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson appeared on Hello! magazine’s Right Royal podcast Friday and claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t on the same page about putting their kids Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, in the spotlight.

“My understanding of this is that, up to a certain stage, Harry would much rather his children were not seen,” said Wilkinson.

“He doesn’t want them to be papped,” the royal expert continued of Harry, 40. “He’s got this idea that if he takes them outside of Montecito, there’s a horde of us out there trying to take pictures of his kids. They’re not, by the way!”

Wilkinson said that on the other hand, Markle, 43, “grew up in California, she once said she would like to have a more California style lifestyle, take them down the beach, go out, do stuff. She doesn’t want to hide them away.”

“We’ve seen this more and more with the use of Lilibet and Archie. We don’t see their faces,” Wilkinson noted.

In recent months, Markle has posted photos of her kids from behind. In February, she shared a picture of Lilibet when she launched the website for her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. She also posted her daughter on a boat with Harry on International Women’s Day and hanging with “auntie” Serena Williams at home in March.

In December, both Archie and Lilibet appeared in the Sussexes’ 2024 Christmas card that showed the siblings running to their parents.

“You could argue that Meghan isn’t exploiting the children, she’s just…well maybe she is exploiting them,” said Wilkinson, “but she’s using them to display her brand. She’s a mother. A homemaker and cooking at home.”

Wilkinson also noted that in one episode of Markle’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” she prepares for a kids’ party but doesn’t show any children in the series.

“I don’t particularly mind her putting pictures of the children up,” Wilkinson said, adding, “I think Harry probably is not overly happy.”

The Post has reached out to Harry and Markle’s reps for comment.

In addition to sharing photos, Markle has recently made rare comments about her kids while promoting her Netflix show and lifestyle brand.

During an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” last month, she revealed that Archie and Lilibet have picked up on Harry’s British accent, despite being raised in Montecito, Calif.

“Some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they’ll say z-e-b-r-a and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out and because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him.”

“I think it’s adorable,” Markle shared.
