Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to take a trip to the Bahamas after facing “intense pressure,” according to a source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had a challenging few weeks, with Meghan being forced to delay her upcoming Netflix show and the pair being surrounded by divorce speculation. The split rumors started following reports Meghan had been in talks to write a “post-divorce book.”
A source has now shared, “Meghan and Harry have been under intense pressure.” To get away from the drama, the source claimed Meghan’s close pal Tyler Perry has stepped in and offered them a place to stay for a relaxing getaway.

The filmmaker is believed to have offered the pair his private residence in the Bahamas to stay in while on holiday. Tyler owns a private island in the Bahamas called White Bay Cay, which he bought in 2009.

“Tyler has offered up his Bahamas home to the couple,” the source claimed to Heat Magazine. They added, “He told Meghan to take the time to reconnect and repair – insisting that she and Harry needed time away from everyone, even the kids.”
Harry and Meghan are believed to be planning to jet away next month. The pair are believed to have made arrangements for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to stay with Meghan’s mom Doria Ragland while they’re away.
The source said the trip news has pleased Meghan and Harry’s friends. “Many of Meghan’s pals feel this trip will be all about healing and reconnection,” they explained.
The Sussexes have been under a lot of criticism following the publication of a damning Vanity Fair article. The report claimed Meghan was set to release a divorce book about the aftermath of her potential split from Harry, as opposed to her first husband Trevor Engelson.
A source told the publication Meghan’s book meeting did not imply she is actually divorcing Harry. Instead, they insisted it was simply to see if the publisher would “theoretically be interested.” The publisher reportedly never made an offer.
The couple were also hit with harsh allegations from their former Spotify employees. The Duchess of Sussex was described as demanding, with one source alleging staff required “long-term therapy” after working for her.
