The Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by bagpipes as they arrived on the Isle of Mull where they will mark their 14th wedding anniversary.
William and Kate, who also hold the Scottish titles of the Lord and Lady of the Isles and the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, are on a two-day visit to the Inner Hebrides to champion local communities and the environment.
Rather than a romantic getaway, however, Tuesday evening will be spent preparing food and taking part in a community feast after a visit to the Tobermory artisan market. They will spend the night in a self-catering cottage to promote the local tourism industry.
