It’s always interesting when a marriage ends after someone becomes sober. Most times, it’s the opposite and active addiction leads to divorce, but PK’s sobriety really seems to have changed him. I think without the numbing of alcohol, they realized they don’t even like each other. He seems to have grown a backbone over night and although she filed, it’s been very clear that he’s the one who initiated the separation. I hope he stays sober for himself and their kids, and I hope Dorit heals, not just from the heartbreak but from the anger and extreme sensitivity that she’s exhibited in recent months.
