Meghan Markle has really good skin. The Duchess of Sussex showed off her natural glow during an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast—and honestly, I’m kinda shook. Then again, I probably shouldn’t be. Meghan is always in her “health is wealth” bag, and that lifestyle clearly translates to glowing, supple skin.

As she opened up about motherhood, marriage, and California living, I couldn’t stop staring at her clear complexion. There wasn’t a blemish in sight (not that there’s anything wrong with blemishes—we appreciate texture over here!). Her skin just had that dewy, lit-from-within thing going on, especially around her cheekbones.

Naturally, as a beauty editor, I had to know: What is Meghan putting on her face?

But before diving into product recs, it’s worth noting one gem she dropped in the episode—one that might be just as powerful as any serum: “Stop trying to prove yourself.”

“I am just so done with the ‘prove it’ game,” Meghan told Lima, the founder of IT Cosmetics. “When you get to the place where you feel, ‘I don’t have to prove anything to you anymore. I don’t have to prove that I’m a good person. I don’t have to prove to you that I’m a good wife or mom or friend. I don’t have to prove that I work hard.’ That can be really freeing. You’re proving nothing to anyone but yourself.”

We’ve been told by derms and wellness experts for years that stress and anxiety can take a serious toll on your skin. So maybe the first step to a radiant complexion isn’t a product—it’s peace. (Easier said than done, of course. Meghan even admitted that it took “a lot of time and pain” to get there.)

    Now, onto the actual skincare.

Back in March, Meghan launched her official ShopMy account, describing it as a place for “a collection of the things I love.” On it, she spotlights a handful of beauty staples—including two hydration heroes from La Roche-Posay and Tatcha.

She’s a fan of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
, which features niacinamide and ceramides to support hydration and even out skin tone. From Tatcha, she loves the Dewy Skin Cream, which targets dullness, fine lines, and dryness. Even from these two alone, it’s clear Meghan prioritizes barrier support and glow-enhancing moisture.

I can’t say enough good things about this cream. It’s been in my own skincare rotation for about two months now, and it’s incredible. It gives me all-day hydration and this silky glow.

    Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

This is another product I also use and love–in fact, my colleagues and I did a group review on the brand’s other offerings, which all have left us moisturized and happy. The Lip Sleeping Mask, however, is a cult favorite—especially among celebrities.

This product works for all skin types, using cranberry and raspberry extracts to unclog and minimize pores. One shopper said this exfoliant left their skin feeling “smooth” and “clean.”
