Prince Harry Reveals Why King Charles III “Won’t Speak” to Him

Prince Harry is revealing why King Charles III won’t speak to him. Well, Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, who share kids Archie and Liet, decided to step away from their royal duties back in 2020 for the sake of their mental health and nuclear family. Harry tells BBC on May 2nd he would love reconciliation. However, the 40-year-old admits that his father, King Charles III, is not currently in contact with him. Harry has not visited the UK often since the security he had as a senior royal was stripped following his exit. And although Harry has appealed twice to reinstate the clearance, which provides automatic police protection, he lost the most recent appeal on May 2nd and therefore won’t be moving back to the UK anytime soon. The author admits that his ongoing battle with the government has further strained his relationship with his father, saying during the interview, “He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.” Harry continues, “There have been so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family. This current situation that has been on our ongoing for 5 years with regard to human life and safety is the sticking point. it is the only thing that’s left. The former senior member of the royal family adds that his 2023 tell- all memoir, Spare, is another lingering issue between him and his family. Some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things. E-news has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment, but has not yet heard back.
