I am very lucky that I have so much hair because at the rate that I’ve been losing hair, I’m going to be bald in about a week. Kyle Richard’s daughter, Sophia Omansky, is sharing her experience losing hair after taking the weight loss drug Muro. About 4 months into taking the GLP1 drug traditionally used to help patients with type 2 diabetes manage their weight. Sophia says, “I would say like maybe for the past 3 weeks to a month, I’ve noticed a dramatic hair loss situation.” And so sorry for the zooming in and the graphic visual, but I really need you guys to understand the depth of the situation. This is everything I brush out of my hair before the shower and everything that comes out during the shower. I don’t think it’s a direct result of the medication. I think it’s a direct result of rapid weight loss because of the medication and not eating enough vitamins, protein, all that kind of stuff. I feel like at the beginning of starting this medication, I was just making sure I was eating enough. I wasn’t really thinking about like enough protein, enough vitamins, all that kind of stuff. So, I think because of that, I have started losing hair. Sophia says she’s adding more hair loss specific shampoo and conditioner as well as hair vitamins into her routine, and we’ll see if there is a difference. I can see her part is widening. Hair toppers can be a lifesaver, and look natural.
I wanted to go on ozempic- which is pretty much exactly what she was taking. My weight fluctuates between 150-160 Im 5’4”, and just turned 38, also female. Not pre or diabetic. Just wanted to lose a few pounds for summer. I was told by my primary as well as a second opinion that I didn’t qualify. So if my weight didn’t qualify- she’s barely 100lbs already. She has nothing to lose. Literally

I don't wish harm on anyone but medications should be used what they were intended for and not bc of a side effect. Ladies stop doing this to yourselves.
