Another Simple Favor’s Paul Feig Slams Blake Lively “Misconceptions” | E! News

Another Simple Fever director, Paul Fig, is clearing up what he says are misconceptions about Blake Lively, saying the actress has been a dream to work with. Speaking to Esquire on April 30th, the director says, “Blake is an amazing collaborator.” So, when I read people’s misconceptions about how movies are made, it’s just frustrating for me. Every star I’ve worked with works this way. The idea that a star just shows up and you go, “Here’s the script. Please point me to one movie star that works that way. In December, Blake sued her director and co-star of the movie This Is Us, Justin Beldoni, alleging sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign. But Justin counters sued the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds plus their publicist Leslie Sloan in January alleging civil extortion, defamation, and more, which Lively’s attorneys have called meritless.
