Princess Kate seems to be smiling brighter than ever before this year after her challenging cancer journey in 2024. With her cancer now in remission, The Princess of Wales appears to be in good spirits this year so far during all her royal engagements.
From meeting people to carrying out activities, The Princess of Wales has been glowing with happiness, and has been complimented by royal fans. While the princess has a natural beauty about her, it is likely the superfood drink she enjoys twice daily could also be complimenting the royal’s healthy glow, with the princess known for eating very healthily. According to a royal insider, part of her healthy diet includes a green juice smoothie.
The royal insider told the Daily Mail: “She (Kate) drinks smoothies morning and afternoon, containing spirulina, kale, matcha (a finely ground green tea powder), spinach, romaine, cilantro and blueberries.”
As well as enjoying her green smoothies, which are made by blending greens together, Kate, 43, also reportedly enjoys lean proteins, vegetables, and healthy fats.
It is also believed that The Princess of Wales enjoys oats for breakfast. This was previously revealed by BarBend’s experts, who said: “To maintain her enviable figure, Kate matches nutritious, healthy eating with a consistent workout regime of planking and running, and oats can be great exercise fuel, as they release energy throughout the whole workout.”
They also said that Kate enjoys healthy lunches, which are made up of salads and vegetables.
The experts previously revealed: “Watermelon salads are a staple of Kate’s lunches, and include juicy pink watermelon mixed with avocado, onion, cucumber, and feta cheese. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and savoury.”
While she does enjoy healthy food, it is no secret that Kate does also enjoy similar meals to the rest of us, including curries and Italian food such as pizza.
In 2019, the princess told UK chef Mary Berry that she had enjoyed making pizzas with her children using the chef’s recipe.
She told Mary: “Actually one of the last things we cooked, together, was your pizza dough. We made pizzas with your pizza dough recipe…They absolutely loved it.”
