As it turns out, Middleton’s outfit choice also carried a deeper meaning that connects to their marriage. Stanton explained, “She was wearing a burgundy colour, which is the colour of openness and connection. It was really important to her to make her presence known on the day and be the face of the Royal family alongside William.”
The royals may have had a tough year, due partly to Middleton’s cancer diagnosis, but they’ve proven to be resilient and consistently show their mutual affection during their public outings. It’s no wonder Stanton refers to them as the dream team.
He said, “In many ways, Kate and William are emerging as the ultimate dream team in the family. It was great to see them take the lead and be in the limelight, setting a great example for the nation.”
