Jason Priestley Remembers Shannen Doherty Almost One Year After Her Death | E! News

Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley is entertaining a whole new generation on the CW crime drama Wild Cards. And we spoke with Jason before tomorrow night’s season finale to find out what it’s like playing a con man. Thanks to you, I’ll never set foot on those concrete floors or lay eyes on that barb wire ever again. The least I could do is try to make it up to you two. How can I help? We need you to go back to prison. Playing George is a lot of fun, right? Like it’s the old story is true. I never met a con man I didn’t like. So, there was a there was a group of guys that I knew that we actually got conned by a con man back in the late ‘9s. Um, no way. Oh, yeah. He was so good. Uh, that I sort of I sort of built a lot of George uh uh based on that guy in the finale uh for my character. You know, George uh finally gets out of prison. I’m looking forward to seeing what the writers have in store for George uh going into season three. You and the cast, you see each other quite often. Is there a group text perhaps? Of course there’s a group text. I love it. What’s it called? It’s it’s it’s a team 90210 awesome sauce. I don’t know who came up with that. I can’t remember, but I am not own taking ownership of that. I can’t believe it’s almost coming to a year on a different note that we lost Shannon. you know, h we we were all actually just together as a cast and we talked about that because we all feel uh and look relatively young to have lost already a couple of our uh fellow castmates. So, it’s uh it, you know, it it’s strange. I was very fortunate that in the last couple years of Shannon’s life, we got to spend quite a bit of time together. There was nothing left unsaid between us and and we were definitely in a in a in a good place when she passed away. [Music]
