    During the 80th anniversary celebration of VE Day on Monday (May 5) in the UK, a heart-warming Royal moment was caught on camera as Prince William settled next to his little one, Prince Louis, prior to the start of the military parade. The adorable scene quickly went viral on social media where Louis, who turned seven in April, was seen brushing off his dad’s shoulder, making sure the future king looked sharp in his uniform. X users swooned over the moment with one person commenting: “Aww…Louis looking after his dad.”

    A second gushed: “Prince Louis dusting off his papa’s uniform. Such a sweet little kid.” Another chimed in: “Prince Louis rubbing Prince William’s shoulder, so adorable!” Whilst a fourth observer shared their delight at watching: “Watching Prince Louis tapping William on the shoulder while William was talking to a gentleman to his side. Just like all kids! And just like all good parents, William acknowledged Louis with his hand touching him, (‘hang on a minute son’) but continued his conversation.”

    The two princes were were joined by Princess Catherine, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte as the family-of-five honored the event alongside veterans near the Queen Victoria Memorial. Moments after Louis and William’s interaction, meanwhile, the former was spotted hilariously imitating his elder brother Prince George, 11.

    As a breeze ruffled the Royals, George had to rearrange his fringe, smoothly sweeping his hair back in line with his side parting. Yet, Louis, who’s become known for his amusing expressions at Royal events, cheekily mimicked George, appearing to tease him for his concern over appearance.

    Again, X users were quick to react, with one exclaiming: “Oh Prince Louis so funny without trying!” Another humorously remarked: “Louis is almost trolling George!”

    A third weighed in: “I love it! He’s so cheeky.” A fourth playfully noted: “Louis doesn’t even have a quiff!” Whilst a fifth X user commented: “How adorable. Prince Louis is going to be a charming handful.”

    Later today, the King and Queen are set to welcome veterans and members of the Second World War generation to Buckingham Palace for a Royal Tea Party. The guests will include British and Commonwealth Armed Forces veterans, WRENs, Special Operations Executives, and home front contributors, along with their families and carers.

    Queen Camilla is set to visit the renowned ceramic poppy display at the Tower of London tomorrow (Tuesday, May 6), whilst on Wednesday, a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey will be attended by the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.

    The national VE Day commemorations will conclude with a live celebratory concert from Horse Guards Parade, which the King and Queen will also attend. The event will feature music from the era and stories from Second World War veterans.
