Prince George had some words of advice for Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper, who met with Prince William during an engagement in Somerset

As Prince George grows into his role as future king, it seems his taste in film and television is maturing, too. Once a fan of Octonauts, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Lego Movie, the 11-year-old royal (who, lest we forget, may one day inherit his father’s role as President of BAFTA) has a new favourite show to watch during evenings at Adelaide Cottage: Clarkson’s Farm.
Prince William revealed that his son was a fan of Jeremy Clarkson’s comedy-of-errors documentary series about life on his Diddily Squat farmstead while meeting with one of the Amazon Prime show’s stars: farmer Kaleb Cooper. The Prince of Wales was in Somerset on a trip to Folly Farm to raise awareness for mental health among farmers when he enjoyed a banter-filled conversation with Cooper – who is known for his somewhat colourful language among fans of Clarkson’s Farm.
Prince George will no doubt be delighted that his father is set to appear on an episode of Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm

‘You’ve got George watching now,’ Willam told the young farmer as they chatted among the rolling hills of the Chew Valley. ‘I said to him: “What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?”’ The Prince then revealed that Prince George had an answer truly becoming of royalty – and one that he may well have learnt from his mother during their family viewings of the series: ‘He said: “Tell Kaleb to mind his language!”’
The two men clearly got on well, with Cooper able to joke around with the Prince of Wales in a manner few would ever attempt. ‘Great hair,’ the farmer quipped as he greeted Prince William in the early Spring sunshine. The Prince was quick with a volley of his own, remarking: ‘Is that your clean shirt?’ and ribbing Cooper about his footwear, asking ‘As they the cleanest ones you’ve got?’
