Liam Payne’s estate has found its administrators. Cheryl, who is the mom of the late One Direction alum’s 8-year-old son, Bear, will oversee his estate alongside music industry lawyer Richard Mark Bray after Payne died without a will, according to court documents obtained by People. Payne’s estate in the UK amounted to approximately $32.2 million after debts and expenses per the filing. However, Cheryl, formerly known as Cheryl Cole and Cheryl Tweety, and Bray have only been granted limited authority to manage the money until General Grant is made. According to court documents viewed by the BBC in the meantime, per the outlet, the girls allowed member and the attorney will not be able to distribute any funds from the estate. Payne died in October at age 31 after falling from a third-story hotel balcony in Argentina. His cause of death was determined to be multiple traumatic injuries with internal and external hemorrhaging. A toxicology report showed drugs were in pain system when he fell, leading authorities to launch an investigation into his death. At the time of his passing, the singer was dating influencer Kate Cassidy, who flew out of South America days before his fatal fall. The 26-year-old told the son in February, “Liam was in such a good headsp space when I left Argentina. We were in such a great place, just full of love. He was so happy and positive, and I just can’t even believe the way things truly ended.” Cheryl has also spoken out about Payne’s passing. In an October statement shared on Instagram, she urged the public to give Liam the little dignity he has left.
