Over the weekend, a lot of celebrities honored their moms, mothers-in-law, and grandmothers for Mother’s Day. They partied, hard-launched twins, were treated to a surprise mariachi-band serenade, and expressed gratitude the way they know best: posting 20-photo carousels of themselves and their loved ones to Instagram. Here’s what everyone did.
Bündchen, who welcomed a child with her jiujitsu boyfriend Joaquim Valente back in February, also shares two kids with her ex-husband, Tom Brady. On Sunday, she paid tribute to her baby boy (his name has yet to be dropped) in an Instagram post explaining that she’s been “quiet” but “busy living life,” and she posted the first photos of Baby Bündchen-Valente (with an emoji covering his face). She also posted photos of her older kids (Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12) and her stepson Jack, 17, whom Tom shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Justin Bieber found the time to plan something elaborate for wife Hailey’s first Mother’s Day, including a balloon-toting mariachi band marching through their backyard and a candlelit dinner overlooking the pool. “To the best mommy everrrr,” he wrote. In a separate post, Hailey shared photos of baby Jack Blues’s tiny feet: “i love being your mommy Jack Blues,” she wrote on Instagram. “Happy Mothers Day.”

Emerging from a little publicity hiatus, Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce were spotted dining with Donna Kelce, Travis’s brother Jason, and Jason’s wife Kylie at a Philadelphia restaurant on Sunday. Let’s just say those engagement rumors aren’t going away anytime soon …
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the glorious mothers of the world and especially my beautiful mother-in-law, DJ!,” the actress wrote in an Instagram post. “You’ve come into our lives and brought the sunshine with you ☀️ I so admire the way you love with such grace and style! When you shower us with your pearls, we are instantly made better!”
Then, in a follow-up video, the 58-year-old flaunted a very sexy end to her day, seemingly naked snuggling in bed with longtime partner Van Hunt. (The post doubled as spon-con for lube brand Spin, which Berry helped to develop.) I’m sure her kids weren’t thrilled to see that, but whatever, it’s Halle’s day.
After welcoming her first daughter, Oonagh, in 2021, Heard made a surprise announcement this Mother’s Day, posting photos of her new twins Agnes and Ocean. “Well, now I am bursting times three!!!” the 39-year-old wrote. “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”
The actress celebrated the occasion with her kids Ava and Deacon, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and 12-year-old Tennessee, her son with ex Jim Toth. “Each one of these kids has made me a better person by sharing their unique gifts and their open hearts with mine,” she wrote. “Motherhood has been such a gift to me. Thank you Ava, Deacon and Tenn … I love you more than you will ever know.”

Though she typically keeps her kids out of the spotlight, Jenner shared a carousel of images of her 7-year-old daughter Stormi and 3-year-old son Aire, whom she shares with ex Travis Scott. She was pictured reading to her kids, hoisting them on her back, hanging in the pool, and boating around Italy in a water taxi. Thankfully for Club Chalamet, Timothée was not pictured.
Barker wished his wife Kourtney a happy Mother’s Day with an Instagram post featuring Baby Rocky, who also had a heart emoji covering his face: “Thank you for being such a great Mom and taking such good care of our family. We love you so much,” Barker wrote. “It is my purpose and my pleasure,” Kardashian responded in the comments section.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a photo of 6-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet, writing about her ongoing journey of “juggling it all with joy!” “These two gems — who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain,’ smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure … being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life,” she added.

The Cyruses, who’ve been mired in family drama for more than a year, seem to have reunited over the weekend for Braison Cyrus’s 31st birthday. In what is sure to become a Hall of Fame entry in the category of “posting through it,” Billy Ray addressed the ongoing rumors in a lengthy Instagram. “I’m so proud of Miley and her guts and her courage … her wisdom and strength to bring it when our family needed it most,” Cyrus wrote. “We are so close to a full healing. We have all been through a lot.” He also praised his ex, Tish Cyrus, as “the very definition of a strong mother.”
“Being married to me was not easy. I’m very good at making mistakes,” Cyrus continued. “A very imperfect man. But thank goodness … somewhere along the line my Mama also taught me ‘life is a series of adjustments.’ Ha ha! Yep. Being honest here.”
The actress celebrated the women of her family — including grandma Mildred Davis, who once “broke her back in a car wreck and walked herself to the hospital” — as well as her 2-year-old son Leodis with ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson.
“Even still these women found a way to love on their children,” she wrote. “These are the women I come from. God bless them and rest their souls.”
Jenner wrote that “motherhood” was the heart of the Kardashian extended family. “To my daughters Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Kylie, getting to experience each of you become mothers has been one of my life’s biggest blessings,” she wrote. “I am endlessly proud of the way you love your babies and how each of you nurture, teach, protect, and give them the most incredible childhoods.”
