Halle Berry Forced to Change at Cannes Film Festival Due to New Rule | E! News

The Can Film Festival is cracking down on this year’s attire. Just ahead of the 2025 film festival in France, the Can organizers released a statement that banned nudity in quote excessively voluminous outfits. And that seems to have forced actress Halib Berry to change her look last minute as she stated during the press conference. The festival then released an update on the rule change, noting that it’s now in accordance with French law, reading, “This year, the Can Film Festival has made explicit in its charter certain rules that have long been in effect. The aim is not to regulate attire per se, but to prohibit full nudity on the red carpet in accordance with the institutional framework of the event and French law.
