Scarlett Johansson Addresses Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively Lawsuit | E! News

Scarlett Johansson is working with Justin Baldon’s production studio and says it’s weird timing. The actress who used to be married to Blake Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds is making her directorial debut in Elanor the Great and It Ends With Us director Justin Baldon’s Wayfairer Studios is a major backer of the film. This comes during Justin and Blake’s ongoing legal battle after Blake accused the It Ends With Us director and star of sexual harassment in a lawsuit. Justin has since counters sued the Gossip Girl alum and her husband Ryan for defamation among other claims. All parties have denied the allegations against them. Speaking to Vanity Fair on May 14th about Wayfairer and the collaboration, she says they were super supportive throughout the process. But yeah, such weird timing. The news of Wayfairer backing Eleanor the Great alongside Sony Pictures Classic, which is expected to release the film later this year, comes after the organization announced the end of its Wayfairer Foundation, the philanthropic branch of the studio. Justin has been a member of the foundation’s board since its launch in 2016 with the mission to advance humankind spiritually toward a future peaceful world civilization through supporting spiritually rooted and justiceoriented nonprofits.
