Kate Middleton recently sported a stunning white dress from London brand, Self-Portrait. Then, a week later, another royal fashionista did, too. Whoa.
On May 8, the Princess of Wales stepped out for a night of music alongside Prince William to attend a concert at Horse Guards Parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of VE Day. While I couldn’t get over her chic new hairstyle choice or her rocking one of the season’s hottest print trends the day before, her flowing, belted blazer dress was the true star of the show. And it looks like this royal thought the same.
Seven days later, the same ensemble was spotted on her equally chic cousin-in-law, Princess Bea. While attending the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2025 in London, Beatrice walked the red carpet in the same Self Portrait dress, this time in a moody black. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen them sport similar outfits or wear this exact dress.

If you recall, Middleton has been spotted in this stunner several times over the years in both black and white. She was first seen in the white dress (along with her signature side part) at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2021. Then, in 2022, she was seen in a black iteration reminiscent of a tailored tuxedo at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

Bea is no stranger to outfit repeating, either. She first wore this dress to attend a vigil for her grandmother the Queen after her passing, and months later for a charity event for Street Child UK. Now, in 2025, to attend her first outing since giving birth to her second child in January. She paired her look with a black clutch and slingback heels.
While this dress still looks stylish and timeless even after several wears, the 46-year-old definitely switched up her accessories this time around. Instead of a monochromatic approach like Bea, Catherine paired her look with a black clutch and bow, an adornment of pearls around her neck and nude pumps.
