Meghan Markle’s estranged family members appear to have found a new home—far from royal drama and the spotlight—on the island of Cebu in the Philippines.
Reports have surfaced that Thomas Markle Sr., the Duchess of Sussex’s father, and her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., are now residing in Cebu. While no official confirmation has been issued, online photos showing Thomas Jr. strolling through the city have fueled speculation.
In one of the images, Thomas Jr. is seen holding hands with a Filipina woman. Dressed casually in a loose gray shirt and cargo shorts, he appeared relaxed and at ease. The nature of their relationship remains unconfirmed, but their public demeanor suggested comfort and familiarity.
Sources say the Markle men are now sharing a modest apartment, seemingly embracing a quieter life in the tropics.
The move to the Philippines comes years after Meghan’s highly publicized falling-out with her father and half-brother. Tensions famously escalated in 2018 when Thomas Jr. penned an open letter urging Prince Harry not to marry Meghan. Around the same time, Thomas Sr. made headlines for allegedly staging paparazzi photos in the lead-up to the royal wedding.
