when you guys were thinking of what to give the fans this time around, what made you think we need to put some re-records in there? Well, I think for us it was uh kind of taking ownership back of our our music, um, you know, everybody’s like, oh, you’re following Taylor Swift. And yes, I think I think we are. Uh, but less because, you know, she did it, but more because she broke down that barrier where the fans are now like, I want to support the artist. I want to support the artist version. So, for us, it was more, it wasn’t like, if we were going to re-record our masters, it was, are people going to listen to them? are they going to be aware of it? So yeah, cuz I feel that’s the thing now people know how cuz like the music business if you’re not in it I’m like I don’t even know what a masters is. But now people are more understanding of that. Yeah. And I think for us it was all right how how are we going to do these songs again? Do them make them sound exactly the same. Our voices have changed. Our blend has changed. The way we perform them is different. So it was a challenge to get them almost exactly like they were in 1997 98 um when you were 8 years old. Um We were 30, but it’s okay. Um, they sound pretty identical, though. Honestly, you guys sound incredible. We Yeah, we really tried to get them as close as we could to what that original sound was. I think that’s what the fans kind of want to hear. You know what I mean? But to Drew’s point, like over the years, we when you perform them in in concert, you change things. You change the way you sing them. You change the melody sometimes. Um, so it was it was tricky to to go back and like really listen to the original and try and get it as as close as we could. [Music]
