Well, it looks like Taylor Swift is out of the woods after Justin Baldon’s attorney issued a subpoena for the Grammy winner amid his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively. E! News can now confirm that the written order has been dropped. With a spokesperson for Lively saying in a statement May 22nd, “We are pleased that Justin Baldon and the Wayfairer parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm.” The Baldonian Wayfarer team have tried to put Taylor Swift, a woman who has been an inspiration for tens of millions across the globe, at the center of this case since day one. At some point, they will run out of distractions from the actual claims of sexual harassment and retaliation they are facing. EN has reached out to a rep for Baldoni, who has denied Lively’s accusations of harassment, for comment on the withdrawn subpoena, but hasn’t yet heard back. The order, which would have compelled Swift to testify in the case, was issued earlier this month by Baldon’s legal team after the actor accused Lively in court docs filed back in January of leveraging her close relationship with the pop star for creative control over It Ends With Us, with Swift’s rep later reacting to the court order, revealing that the singer would very much like to be excluded from Baldonian Lively’s legal battle.
