An advocate for ‘savouring moments slow and sweet,’ Meghan Markle has offered a rare look into her life at home with her daughter, Lilibet. Taking to her Instagram page, the Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet reel where she can be seen harvesting honeycombs from the family’s Californian garden alongside her three-year-old ‘little honey.’

The mother-daughter duo, dressed in matching beekeeping suits and gloves, were filmed tending to their Montecito apiary, part of what appears to be a growing Sussex homestead. The video, posted to Meghan’s recently revived personal Instagram account, is soundtracked by The Archies’ track Sugar, Sugar – a likely nod to her son, Archie.

In the clip, Meghan is seen guiding Lilibet through the harvesting process with gentle instruction (and presumably what it means to be a Queen bee) before returning indoors to jar the sticky substance. ‘Look at all that fresh honeycomb!’ the Duchess wrote in the caption, adding, ‘Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter – she’s even wearing my gloves.)’
