These two need to move on and let that girl be. Stop placing her life for all to see. You’re not her parents
Not surprised to hear that at all. Makes sense. They were heavily coerced, guilted and shamed in their teens. The influence of the substance abuse parents made it so complicated. They always deeply struggled with the choice even back then. Healing prayers to them. And reconnection if that’s best ❤
Trease and Brandon have lifted the strain for them to sort themselves out.. well catelynn mum begged her not to give up that baby and she never listen
Carly's adoptive parents lied. Plain and simple. We all watched them crying giving their baby up and they promised them it would be an open adoption. How can you take that back?

Open adoptions are not legally enforceable. No matter what the adoptive parents say before they have the child, they can go no contact once the child is born and the child’s birth parents will have no legal recourse.
Just because your parents are poor doesn’t mean you should be placed for adoption.
Soooo theyre greatful someone took on the financial responsibility,home stability and nurturing roll but mad cause they've been shut out? Makes alot of sense, if they love Her leave Her alone and let Her enjoy what's left of her teenage years. She will be 18 in just 2yrs, if she chooses to build a relationship with the Bios she can but until then just STOP. I've never heard of the Bios expecting to have say after adoption. Smh…

I honestly don't see why Carly can't be close to her biological family it's not like cate and Tyler are horrible people they are amazing and maybe that will be good for Carly I'm sure she asks questions and wonders … Praying for my favorite couple on teen mom Cate and Ty ❤u guys honestly I feel like they want to get Carly noticed and get a record deal or something they are t thinking of the children's feelings at all. Don't worry Cate and Ty she will be 18 soon the truth will be revealed then

They were young and manipulated. I remember after Catelyn gave birth, Dawn comes in and pressures them into letting Brandon and Teresa see the baby and making them feel guilty for making them wait. I never liked that woman, it was all about a paycheck for her.

I’m sure they do. Brandon and Theresa took advantage of two teenagers to get a kid, when they KNEW they didn’t want to have an open adoption. They knew what Tyler and Caitlyn wanted. They knew what they agreed to.

What is up with that you place your baby for an adoption & papers for it to be an open adoption and then as soon as they get your baby they close the adoption how is that legal? OPEN ADOPTION SHOULD BE A BINDING CONTRACT!! So now every birth mother is going to be deceived by the adoptive parents!! The only thing they did wrong is not hired the right attorney because thats B.S and 50 Shades of F***UP !! 😡
I'm sorry but I could never put my child up for adoption because no matter what happens I'll try to give them the best life I can. It probably seem like it'll be hard and they were probably scared but eventually everything will work out, trust the process. I know I'll regret it and that's why I'll never put my kids up for adoption. No matter what, no one's going to love that child more than their own birth parents.

The only regret they should have was making a clear contract on the "open adoption". Both parties didn’t know the show would be a hit.
One of their biggest mistakes was letting go of their baby to an awful adoption agency that clearly took advantage of them with adoptive parents who clearly had zero intentions of involving them in the child’s life. 💔
The entire social experiment of teen moms was and remains toxic.
Instead of regretting placing Carly with Brandon & Theresa, you need to be thanking them.
I understood why Brandon & Theresa stopped the visits now. These two are stalking Carly. Go raise your 3 daughters & move on. For 16 years these two have made money off Carly.
Their parents tried to tell them and they didn’t listen.
The parents will regret this. Carly is almost 18 she will likely want to be around her birth parents and siblings . She’ll resent them

I just wanna say I admire them still being together after all these years. I remember almost everything about them. Despite both having fckd up parents and Tyler having a messed up upbringing, he was so good Catelyn. Always sticking up for her towards their families. She went thru so much mentally and physically as a pregnant teenage girl.
That kid is a beautiful gospel singer now ❤
