what are your thoughts on fans maybe or maybe not butchering your songs at karaoke oh I’m I’m pro it cuz you’re so mean i know before you got here I was like I’ve mur I’ve murdered this man’s work his life’s work at karaoke i feel so bad my favorite like back in the day in the day that’s when you know you’re old so back in the day there was a place like the Elbow Room in downtown and and used to have like a karaoke night on like a Monday but it would be like me and Adam from Counting Crows and Michael Stip and like all of these people just like drunk doing karaoke but like doing each other’s songs that’s great wow oh my god so like I don’t think you’ve lived until I’ve got like a drunk Adam Duritz doing you know Back to Good in your face oh my god oh my god okay that is or for me the worst is so I made the mistake like of writing smooth and so and I I I I say this because I love that song and I love everything that that you know that’s happened about it but I but the downside of it is that it means that at least once every few months somebody goes “Man it’s a hot one.” You accidentally dropped a catchphrase yeah and they always say it in that rapy tone [Music]
