Julia Fox supports Hollywood’s new transparency around plastic surgery.
While speaking to People at the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend, the “Uncut Gems” alum praised the “new wave of women,” like Kylie Jenner and Kristin Cavallari, for revealing exactly what they’ve gotten done.
“I love it. I think we should be honest,” she told the outlet, adding that those who aren’t honest are “setting an unrealistic bar.”

“That’s really great for you, but what about all the girls that are so impressionable and feeling like ‘Wait, why don’t I look like that and what’s wrong with me?’” she continued.
“It’s like, girl, none of us look like this, you know what I mean? Like we all look really different without the surgery and without the fillers and without the makeup and all the things we do and the face tapes and the wigs and the tanning creams. The list goes on. On and on and on,” she said.
The “Down the Drain” author also believes it’s important to tell girls “there’s nothing wrong with you, like you’re perfect the way you are and this is all smoke and mirrors, sweetie, you know … it’s such a beautiful message.”

Fox herself has opened about up the cosmetics procedures she’s tried out in the past. In a 2023 interview with Elle, she revealed that she’s had liposuction and Botox.
“I’m, like, saggy — like, things are not sitting the way they used to. But it’s like, I am not gonna do a damn thing about it,” Fox told the publication.
Her recent conversation with People follows a string of A-listers getting candid about their plastic surgery.

Kylie Jenner got extremely candid on social media last week, responding to a TikTok creator who asked for her boob job details — and the “Kardashians” star delivered, revealing her exact specifications.
Jenner, 27, replied, “445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!!,” dropping her surgeon’s name, too, in the candid confession.
Mom Kris Jenner has always been open about her own surgery, recently undergoing a second facelift — and sharing that the same surgeon who is responsible for Kylie’s breasts did her first facelift years ago. And, she’s even selling merch declaring “I’ll have what Kris Jenner is having.”

And Sammi Sheen responded to a fan asking for her order in 2023.
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ eldest daughter Sammi was inspired by Jenner, telling her Instagram followers that she got 350 cc silicone implants when she went under the knife in 2023.
Kristin Cavallari, too, responded to one fan who declared her a “boob-spiration,” saying of her recent second augmentation, “I was 300 cc before and now I’m 340. Everyone thinks I went a lot bigger but I’ve just pushed them up a couple of times since getting them done.”
This is officially the summer of transparency.
