Princess Lilibet has been given an unusual three-word nickname by a royal expert just days after her fourth birthday. Last Wednesday, Meghan Markle shared a series of photographs to mark her daughter’s birthday, including pictures of Lilibet with Prince Harry, 40.

In the photographs, Lilibet’s full face was never shown, with one photo showing the side of her face as a newborn and another showing her eyes and forehead as she cuddles up to Meghan, 43, on a boat trip. While these glimpses of the young royal’s features excited some royal fans, one royal expert has criticised it.

Referring to Lilibet as “the jigsaw girl”, former Sun royal correspondent and author Charles Rae spoke on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show about the photographs Meghan has posted of her daughter.

He said: “I’m dubbing Lilibet the jigsaw girl because over the four years, all we’ve seen is an ankle, an arm, a bit of a nose, maybe a forehead.

“I’m all for them protecting their children. I’ve got no problems with that as well.

“But, you know, this sort of half bits of the child, it doesn’t do anything for me.”

While only snippets of Lilibet’s face have been shown recently, including in photographs shared by Meghan over the weekend of the family’s recent trip to Disneyland, royal fans are convinced they know who the young princess looks like.

Taking to X, royal fans have argued that Lilibet looks a lot like her father Prince Harry and her grandmother the late Princess Diana.

One fan wrote on X: “Princess Lilibet Diana is Prince Harry’s twin.”

Another said: “Lilibet has the Spencer red hair. I have no doubt she resembles her grandma Diana.”
