a cause of death has been determined for three young sisters found dead near Washington campground payton Decker Evelyn Decker and Olivia Decker died from suffocation according to a June 9th press release from the Chilen County Sheriff’s Office their manner of death has been ruled as homicide following an autopsy on June 6th authorities were first alerted to the missing girls on May 30th when their mom filed a civil complaint saying that they had not returned home after a planned visitation with their dad per the CCSO on June 2nd deputies located the sister’s bodies in a pickup truck belonging to their father Travis Decker parked near Rock Island campground in Levvenworth Washington though investigators collected a large amount of evidence including Travis’s personal belongings from the vehicle they could not locate the 32-year-old at the scene according to CCSO Travis remains missing and is wanted on first-degree charges of murder and kidnapping having been trained with the military Travis is well-versed in wilderness survival and capable of spending days or even weeks in the wilderness on his own and with very little equipment per authorities the CCSO shared in a June 4th statement “It is unknown whether Decker is currently armed but he may pose a significant risk if approached.” Travis is described as a 5’8 man with black hair and brown eyes according to the CCSO he was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and dark shorts in a June 6th affidavit obtained by NBC News affiliate KNDO US Deputy Marshall Keegan Stanley said Travis made suspicious searches on his Google account prior to his disappearance including how does a person move to Canada how to relocate to Canada Jobs Canada and Jobs Canada the affidavit noted that the location where his daughter’s bodies were found is roughly 11 miles overland from the Pacific Crest Trail which joins the US to Canada and Mexico [Music]

I believe Travis Decker managed to escape with ease by kayaking down the Wenatchee River, which flows into the Columbia River and eventually reaches Canada. It appears he deliberately chose this route to flee in the opposite direction. This suggests his escape was premeditated.
Despite everything, we’re relieved he didn’t dispatch the girls on the river after asphyxiation😢, which I suspect may have been part of his original plan, transporting them in his pickup truck, with his kayak ready for a swift getaway.
What a horrifying and heartless act it is to murder one’s own children. It’s truly evil and merciless.

I pray 🙏🏻 for peace ✌🏻 for Whitney and I pray 🙏🏻 that Travis is held accountable for murdering his own children. Truthfully I think 🤔 mentally he was pushed past his breaking point because of lack mental health programs. I think 🤔 family court failed 😞 these girls 👧 by allowing him to be alone with them. His mental health issues is not an excuse for him murdering his own his own kids.
