Beyoncé reveals gender of fan’s baby during live show #shorts

Beyonce helped create a lifelong memory for fans at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Wednesday, May 28, when she revealed the gender of a fan’s baby.

The 43-year-old was performing on night four of her Cowboy Carter Tour stint at the East Rutherford venue when she helped the fan with the gender reveal.

Video captured by Kritica Joshi shows the moment Beyonce opened an envelope that someone in the crowd handed to her.

“I didn’t want to rush this, because this is important. A once-in-a-lifetime gender reveal. I had to take my time,” the singer said.

Footage shows the 35-time Grammy winner struggle to open the package before she reveals a piece of paper that read “COWBOY,” much to the delight of the cheering crowd.

“It’s a boy,” she said. “God bless you. Congratulations! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it. I’m keeping this,” she said, holding up the ripped paper.

Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, shared footage of the moment to Instagram and applauded her daughter for taking the time to do the reveal, writing, “Wow!!!! Who takes the time and does a gender reveal when they are wet and cold? I was like Girlllllll you gonna get sick.”
