As the Royal family stepped out onto the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Trooping the Colour ceremony, Princess Kate appeared to give Prince Louis a gentle yet firm directive.

Despite his reputation for mischief, Louis was generally well-behaved throughout the King’s birthday celebrations, thanks in part to the watchful eyes of his siblings George and Charlotte.

However, according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Kate did need to issue one brief instruction to her youngest child.

As the royals took their positions before returning inside the palace after the Red Arrows flypast, Freeman claims Kate reminded Louis to stand up straight for the national anthem.

She is believed to have said: “National anthem. Louis, stand.”

Louis promptly adjusted his posture and focused on the singing of the national anthem.

Meanwhile, on the balcony, King Charles and Prince William were overheard discussing the success of the day’s events, praising the military parade and the Red Arrows’ aerial display.

Freeman reported that William turned to his father after the RAF flypast and exclaimed: “Oh my word, what a day,” to which Charles responded: “Great theatre.”

During a touching balcony scene, onlookers witnessed the three generations of royals engaging in a warm conversation about the planes appearing at the flypast, reports the Mirror.

Mr Freeman recounted a priceless interaction where King Charles curiously interrupted Prince William’s discussion with Kate by pointing and asking: “What is that?” to which Prince William pondered, “Errr is that Poseidon?” before young Prince George chimed in with certainty, stating: “It’s a Poseidon, yeah.”

Following the wrap-up of King Charles’s birthday celebrations, the Royal household released an array of videos to showcase the day’s best bits.

One particular clip uploaded by the Cambridges captures Prince William donning his full military attire as he prepares to mount his horse for the parade, while Kate along with their kids George, Charlotte, and Louis embark on their carriage journey towards The Mall.

Similarly, King Charles and Queen Camilla shared a montage on the official Royal Family social media channels, spotlighting the day’s highlights such as the family boarding their carriages, the spectacular Red Arrows display, and a charming moment where the King feeds a carrot to one of the carriage horses.

With a note of gratitude, the video’s caption expressed King Charles and Queen Camilla’s thanks to the military forces responsible for making the celebration “truly triumphant”.

This occasion represents the third Trooping the Colour spectacle since Charles ascended the throne.

This year, the colour – regimental flag – being paraded is the King’s Colour of Number 7 Company Coldstream Guards, also referred to as the sovereign’s bodyguard, which is marking its 375th anniversary.
