Kate Middleton had to lay down the royal law to Prince Louis during a balcony appearance, a lip reader has revealed.

The Royal Family took centre stage on the Buckingham Palace balcony today (June 14) to witness the traditional flypast during Trooping the Colour – a celebration in honour of King Charles’ official birthday celebrations.

Kate was accompanied by her husband Prince William and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and the scene-stealing Louis.

Charles and Queen Camilla were also seen acknowledging the masses, while Princess Anne and Sophie Wessex were spotted amongst the dignitaries.

Despite the royal ensemble, it was seven-year-old Louis who commanded attention, beaming a toothy grin and marveling at the aerial display above, reports Edinburgh Live.

As the flying tribute tapered off and the strains of the national anthem began, the cameras captured Kate in a moment of regal guidance for young Louis. Lip reader Jeremy Freeman shared that she instructed him firmly: “National anthem, Louis stand.”

Adhering to protocol, all Royal Family members below King Charles’ rank, as well as the public, are expected to rise for the national anthem.

Beside her, footage showed William deep in dialogue with his father Charles. According to Jeremy, an elated William proclaimed: “Oh my word, what a day.”

To which the King responded: “Great theatre.” This wasn’t the sole intriguing exchange Jeremy decoded at the capital’s storied celebration.

Earlier today, Charles and Camilla were caught engaged in what appeared to be a spirited exchange as they headed towards Horse Guards Parade.

Jeremy claimed King Charles said: “Absolutely crazy, disgrace, absolutely extraordinary.”

While Jeremy couldn’t make out the entire conversation, he did hear the King say “on my way out”, along with: “Meanwhile, not like me. That’s the difference between me and him.”

The identity of “him” remains a mystery in their exchange, though Nicola Hickling, another lip reader, told the Express that the King had mentioned Prince Harry to Queen Camilla at the event.

This year’s Trooping the Colour was marked by the tragic Air India plane crash, which claimed 241 lives earlier in the week.

At the request of King Charles, members of the Royal Family donned black armbands as a sign of mourning. A minute’s silence was held to honor those who perished.

Over a thousand British Army troops marched in full splendor.

Central to the day’s events was the “Colour”, the unit’s standard carried across the grounds, harkening back to its crucial function on the battlefield as a rallying point.

Upholding time-honored rituals, Charles performed his ceremonial duty of inspecting the troops, enshrined in tradition.
