F1 Director Reveals Why Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley Was Cut From Film | E! News

simone Ashley’s role in F1 ultimately didn’t make it to the finish line the Bridgetgerton actress’s part in the Brad Pitt racing film out on June 27th was reduced to a non-speaking one for a valid reason according to the film’s director Joseph Kazinski responding to the online backlash of her lack of screen time the director tells People in an article published June 16th quote “It happens on every film where you have to shoot more than you can use.” There were two or three story lines that ultimately didn’t make it into the final cut joseph went on to emphasize that he has no bad blood with the 30-year-old whose casting the film which co-stars Javier Bardm Damson Idrris and Carrie Condan was originally announced in July 2024 he continues quote “But Simone she’s an incredible talent incredible actress incredible singer and I would love to work with her again.” Just three months earlier Simone spoke about her amazing experience filming in Abu Dhabi and touring with the Grand Prix telling who what where in an interview published March 12th she said quote “It was kind of like theater it felt so live you hear the crowd and the fireworks in the cars everything’s just so fast-paced and noisy and we’re all together as a little unit [Music]
