welcome to enews i’m justin sylvester and i’m kelsey knight brad pitt and the cast of f1 hit the red carpet for the nyc premiere last night and we chatted with brad what got you particularly excited about this role i just i’ve been trying to get a racing movie made for decades and for whether it was on bikes or planes cars boats i didn’t care and it just never came to fruition until i got the call here with joe kazinski and his idea was to put actors in real cars on real tracks and embed us in the racing season it’s really audacious oh my god what these guys can do at these speeds and don’t forget they’re jumping time zone time zone time zone you know it is incredible they are the best in the world what was the most physically challenging part for you doing something like this i was really into the driving and we had great coaches with us and great cars and real pit crews and i think the most difficult thing was really developing a script that would cater to the diehard fans who treat this sport as religion but also cater to any newcomers so just threading that needle i think we got there and lastly you’ve been on this global press tour do you get some time to relax this summer do you have any fun summer plans not yet but we’ll figure it out brad also made his red carpet debut last night with his girlfriend inz de ramon they look fantastic together they really do and we also spoke with brad’s co-star in the film javier bardam take a look i’ve got to ask you working with brad i love y’all’s relationship i love y’all’s friendship what what was it like when the camera stopped rolling with you two no it’s it was we didn’t know each other only briefly one which i can’t believe that i’m surprised i didn’t cross back we met in the table reading and and it happened naturally like i admire him i respect him i i love him as a person now now that i know him he’s a great guy humble nice simple beautiful caring funny inspiring all of those things and free free to play with so we create the whole relationship as we were doing it and and it was fun you know it was that that was the joy like we didn’t go with the plan it’s like okay this happened yeah exactly did peneli get to visit set how how jealous was they you’re like you know they went to abu dhabi because abu dhabi is uh with the kids abu dhabi is crazy amazing and you can catch f1 in theaters on june 27th [Music]
