Kate Middleton celebrated Prince William’s birthday with a cute snapshot. It was the family’s adorable puppies who ended up stealing the spotlight.

Kate Middleton captured a heartwarming photo of Prince William with the newest additions to their family to mark his birthday. While the image was meant to celebrate the Prince of Wales, it was the family’s four adorable puppies who ended up stealing the spotlight.
The puppies are the offspring of Orla, the family’s black cocker spaniel, gifted to them by Kate’s brother in 2020. Recently, Orla gave birth to four cuddly pups, who quickly became the unexpected stars of the photograph. Kate shared the image alongside a sweet birthday message for William, signing it with the initials of herself, their children George, Charlotte, and Louis, as well as a nod to the new furry members of the family.
In the photo, William looks relaxed wearing jeans and a green long-sleeved shirt. While he’s sitting on the grass, the curious puppies climb over him in the cutest way. Along with the picture, there’s a short message shared by the Princess of Wales and their children. The family wrote, “Happy birthday. Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies.”
Just a month ago, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s much-loved dog, Orla, gave birth to her puppies. The arrival of the new pups has brought even more joy to Buckingham Palace. While the Royal Family is yet to make the official announcement, an insider told The Sun, “We always thought the patter of tiny feet in the Wales’s household had ended, so the sound of tiny paws will have to do. Everyone loves a new royal baby news and so new royal puppies run very close. Everyone is very excited, not least the three children, who adore Orla, and Lupo before.”
King Charles also wished Prince William on his 43rd birthday. He shared a never-before-seen photo of his son along with a warm message through the Royal Family’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales.”
It’s surprising how much has changed in just one year. On his 42nd birthday last June, Prince William was going through a tough time as his wife, Kate Middleton, was dealing with cancer treatment after her diagnosis earlier in 2024. It was a difficult period for the whole family. In September, the Princess of Wales shared that she had finished her treatment. This year, as Prince William turned 43, the mood is much brighter, as Kate marked the day with a sweet photo featuring him and their new puppies.
