Margot Robbie Didn’t Want to Play a Gold Digger #shorts #margotrobbie

i read her for what she was and I thought “Oh she’s just a superficial gold digger and I have no interest in playing that at all.” My team said “Well you know it’s a Scorsese film and let’s do a self tape.” And I started working on the role as soon as I started reading the script my acting coach said “Stop judging her.” And I was like “I’m not judging her.” And she’s like “Yes you are why are you judging her?” I’m like “She just seems like a bit of a gold digger don’t you think?” She was like “She’s got no money and the only thing she has is this influence over men and this way of manipulating them so she’s using it to make a better life for herself she’s a badass.” And I was like “Oh my god you’re right

    1. Nah sis. If you have no money and all you have is influence over men, go get something else. Using your beauty and your body to make a better life for yourself doesn't make you a badass. It makes you a ticking time bomb. You are forever anxious about getting older and scared to tell your partner "no" because you are solely dependent on him. No one stays young and hot forever. When he trades you in for a younger model, you'll be flat on your ass with no skills. At the very least get an education when you're with him.

    2. Great job making her think manipulating people with her body because she doesn't have money and she doesn't want to work for it is being bad ass👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 we should show this to kids to keep that spirit and if we are lucky in 50 years maybe we all will be dying from depression

    3. Why we are so judgemental about golddigg? We live in capitalism so it kind of normal to sell your time and life (your body) for money everybody does that 😂

    4. It’s so ironic that men are saying negative things about the actress and the person who she is trying to portray. Men created this situation and system. Youth and beauty are what men value and they have the nerve to criticize women who take advantage of their value system?
The bottom line is women are criticized for everything!
Just be happy and go after your own goals and don’t worry about what ANYONE says.
      ✌🏻🙏🏻😇🇨🇦🇺🇦

    5. If we are gonna call people out it should be equal but people talk more about woman being gold diggers then men pretending to like a woman just to sleep with her

    6. Yeah not a badass to be a gold digger. The character has nothing to offer other than sex appeal due to laziness and lack of effort. Its not like she was a mute paraplegic, she was a bully functioning and supposedly intelligent woman. She could have done anything. She judge the character because she saw herself

    7. Understanding the point of view of a character, and acting having in mind their own opinion of themselves is crucial for an actor. That's being said, that woman was not a badass, she was awful wealth hungry individual with little to no moral code, like practically everyone in this movie xD
