What’s Next For Justin Baldoni After Dropping His Claims Against Blake Lively? Two Likely Scenarios!
okay it’s starting to make more sense hello my friend it is Perez the queen of all media the original influencer and your number one source for everything it ends with us saga as I told you in the video that I posted just before this one the deadline has come and gone justin Baldon has chosen to drop all his claims against the gossip ghoul alum remember two weeks ago Judge Lyman tossed his entire lawsuit into the garbage only allowing him to move forward with some of his claims but defamation and extortion done with prejudice over fine if he was going to file a second amended complaint moving forward with intentional interference with contract intentional interference with prospective economic advantage negligent interference with prospective economic advantage breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing he had to file that second amended complaint by June 23rd that came and went the docket has just been updated after midnight on the 24th there is no second amended complaint my initial thought was okay he is streamlining he is focused on just defending himself and proving in court that fake liel made up the sexual harassment and retaliation claims against him however two theories are circulating like wildfire right now one Baldoni still has about a week to appeal the judge’s dismissal and I don’t think that’s a good idea i don’t necessarily like the judge but I read his ruling word for word in full the judge was very clear and procedural about why he made the decisions that he did remember when it came to the extortion claim that he tossed out with prejudice she put in more work she didn’t get anything of extra value and contractually her contract didn’t prohibit her from doing this that and the other remember I made a whole video about it and when it came to the defamation claims that were also tossed out with prejudice the judge explained that she was legally protected because she made her allegations against him in that CRD complaint in California with the labor board a complaint of that kind is protected legally from defamation claims if she would have done that directly with the New York Times would have been a different story but she and her team had months and months to plot and scheme and protect her i don’t agree with the law i think the law should be looked at maybe even changed but the law is the law and it protects her unfortunately and it protects the New York Times as well because they were reporting on this document that was an official proceeding a government document and it was in the public’s interest to find out about it and her husband and her publicist were protected because they were just repeating what she was saying and they had no reason to doubt her anyways the other popular theory going around today Blake ruin your livelihoods deposition was scheduled for today we don’t know if that happened yet perhaps perhaps perhaps perhaps team Dulu offered to settle with Justin and the Wayfairer parties and perhaps they offered a settlement that was so favorable Belonian Wayfairer said yes like I said that was uh perhaps perhaps perhaps that means speculation i clearly don’t know why they didn’t file their second amended complaint in time it’s too late now i did my research the judge won’t accept it now so we can only speculate until we hear officially from team Baldon why they chose not to amend their complaint and as of now are just in defense mode so working theories are the three that I have shared they just want to focus on the defense they are going to appeal the dismissal or there was some kind of settlement offer i just my brain can’t fathom all of this especially a settlement because Justin Baldon’s attorney Brian Freriedman who is also my lawyer and has not given me any information or influenced me or given me a discount freriedman has said they are not settling repeatedly he has said that i mean off the top of my head the only settlement I think he would accept is full accountability a confession a settlement that says she lied or maybe she was going through postpartum depression and plus money i don’t know under what circumstances do you think Justin would accept a settlement i don’t even know what to think what do you think let’s discuss it all in the comments section my head is exploding

Brian Freedman didn't say they wouldn't settle 🤔 I remember watching an interview where he said they would not accept a settlement unless Justin was absolved of ALL wrongdoing , I don't think that means they won't settle, rather if Blake admits that justin did nothing wrong then I think they would be willing to talk

The settlement theory seems the least likely. That’s what I thought until I read through the comments below. One says that Blake would not risk perjuring herself at the deposition, so the only way out would be to settle. Time will tell but, waiting is so hard.

It's probably more simple than that. They just can't win a defamation case as it's protected because of where she made her claims and they have no way to prove that yet at this stage of the case that it was with malice or an orchestrated event to push Justin out of his own movie. The may defend the SH case, win and in the same process gather court testimony and file a different case against her. Something above and beyond defamation?

I just don’t understand.. this is very upsetting. Did Justine give up…seems so unbelievably unfair to Justin if BL and RR win. A settlement would not clear his name unless BL apologizes and I don’t see that.

It might be that the Wayfarer parties agreed with the Lively parties that BL wouldn't file any claims for damages. Dropping the remaining claims in exchange for protection from any financial penalties could be helpful at this stage. It would still mean a lot of wasted legal and emotional labor only to be back to zero but better than having to potentially pay millions in damages due to 47.1, especially knowing how this judge has been ruling so far.

Ryan's been quite latley
After many, many months of HUGE publicity, scrutiny and stress I'm sure Justin has had enough. He been under a global spotlight being repeatedly gaslit by that horrendous couple. He's probably at his wit's end and just wants to be left alone. His career is ruined however this turns out. I just hope the ending is one that gives him some relief and a way back to a semblance of normality. And I REALLY hope he can work again. It's all just so awful what has been done to him. Wishing only the best for him and his family. God I loathe BL and RR – total creeps and bullies.
I am so sad. I hope Freedman has something up his sleeve because you can't lie and destroy someone's lives with no consequences. And that California law someone needs to challenge it and amend it. There is something going on with the judge.
Well, it may mean that JB has changed his mind because he could not even proceed with defamation, which was the main issue of his lawsuit. What's the point of continuing his lawsuit when he believed he was defamed given the timeline and the evidence they have against NYT and BL?
It is just a waste of money on his side if they pursue the other aspects of their lawsuit that are not as major as the dismissed ones. This may be another reason why JB had decided to drop his lawsuit so as not to add to the cost his friend is shelling out for this lawsuit.
If BL does not drop her lawsuit, on the other hand, JB can proceed on defending himself and at least not bleed money because the resources will be focused on his defense.
So, it is up to BL to prove her case since JB is innocent until proven guilty. JB has a lot of evidence to prove his innocence and so far, BL has changed her words regarding the SH claims after JB's legal team showed the evidence debunking what she said so what other evidence does she have to pursue her SH claims. And SH is not the same as SA.
Therefore, it is not a settlement if JB is willing to go to trial to clear his name. There is only a settlement if BL actually dropped her lawsuit against JB.
I know Brian is supposed to be a good attorney but he seems off his game on this one. I do not think he has served Justin well and Blake’s attorneys have run circles around him.
Let's hope it's a settlement, this madness has to end sometime.

At this point, pretty sure Baldoni just wants his life back. Why give this woman any more power over his life? If I were he, I would only drop everything if she cleared my name and admitted she lied or overreacted.

I’m so upset at the situation and a system where an innocent person is thrown under the bus while the shady accuser continues a privileged life without a care that they got away with lies. Reddit makes me sick of the people so up Blake’s a** that they turn anything in a way to justify why they back this psycho. They write how WE don’t see that Blake is an imperfect victim and Justin was a nobody before this and is just an icky pervert. How they feel so sure over someone who was working to make a career for themselves, hasn’t been proven guilty and now their life is ruined. Are they really that evil or stupid or just fake accounts by the CIA acting like fans? I’m depressed that this is the world we live in.
I think they are probably moving to have the judge recuse himself and will absolutely appeal (so they SHOULD! He ABSOLUTELY should not be presiding over this case, he’s got a history of not recusing himself when he should have 13 times before).
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds need to admit that the reason they went after Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer was that they didn't get what they wanted from them: 1) they tried to coerce JB to take full accountability of BL's PR issues (IEWU promotional disaster), and 2) they wanted JB to give BL full creative control (authorship AND ownership) of the movie franchise. BL and RR went on a full-blown narcissistic rage and decided to ruin the guy for not cooperating with their demands, and they're weaponizing the legal system to get back at JB for that perceived offense. Saying NO to a malignant narcissist is like declaring war. I hope that someday BL and RR realize any backlash they're getting for what they've done is they own fault. It's the consequences of their own actions, and they'll have to live with that for the rest of their lives.

I feel terrible for Justin, HOWEVER. . . Ryan and Fake will financially feel this moving forward. . . Ryan's humor isn't even funny anymore . . he looks like a simp, and Blake looks worse than the biggest snake she has ever played. . . the box office will show these idiots they can't get away with it.
Hope they have a good reason for not amending, and something that is better suited for the situation. Hope Justin and his friends will be vindicated!
