tia Malry reflects on her time babysitting Mary Kay and Ashley Olsen the Sister Sister alum details her life as a childhood star in a heartfelt post on Instagram June 23rd sharing in the post dedicated to her and her twin sister Tamara’s beloved show sister tia reveals some lesserk known facts about the start of their career including how they would babysit the Olsson twins she wrote “It all started on the set of Full House my brother Taj was cast as Teddy and since my mom didn’t have a sitter she brought me and Tamara with her we would sit in the audience while they filmed before continuing they had us babysit Mary Kate and Ashley on set the crew would have us play with Mary Kate and Ashley between takes everyone thought it was the cutest thing twin girls watching over twin girls although she confessed they originally went into entertainment expecting to work in music not acting she continued “We started out singing and dancing tamar and I were in a girl group called Voices and we danced for MC Hammer we thought music was our path then a woman named Suzanne Deass who discovered the Jackson 5 changed everything sooner or later Depass introduced them to Kim Bast who created what would soon become the hit show Sister Sister eventually Warner Brothers picked up the show and the rest is history a lot of people think our journey to Sister Sister was easy but trust me it was far from it as kids we faced a lot of heartache and uncertainty but every challenge taught me something it shaped my faith my resilience and prepared me for everything that came after i wouldn’t change a thing [Music]

Tia Mowry shared that she and her twin sister Tamera Mowry babysat Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen while on the Full House set when their brother appeared on the show as Michelle’s friend Teddy.
