During this year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, King Charles III, Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis gathered on the balcony at Buckingham Palace to watch the parade and military flypast.

While most of the royals remained poised in the public eye, Louis, 7, continued his own tradition of entertaining the crowd with his comical expressions, waving and emulating his grandfather.

Following the annual event — held each June to honor the monarch’s official birthday — Kate took to Instagram to share a photo with her family of five. “Another brilliant day,” the Princess of Wales, 43, captioned the shot.
