    Kate Middleton is getting candid. During her first public appearance since missing the Royal Ascot on June 18th, the Princess of Wales opened up to patients at a hospital in Essex, England, about what her life is like following her cancer treatment.

You know, you’re not necessarily in the clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to. And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that.
    Yeah. That sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable. The mother of three first announced her cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy treatment in March 2024. In January 2025, the royal revealed that she is in remission. [Music]

    1. Thanks for sharing . I think people expect you'll be how you were before cancer. Cancer and treatment changes you in different ways forever. My mom who had ovarian cancer always said she was in recovery but it is always in the back of your memory that it could be some active again
