Andy Samberg Makes Rare Comment About Wife Joanna Newsom | E! News

It’s amazing. I’m I feel really lucky to get to share my life with her. Andy Samberg gives rare insight into his marriage. During the July 8th podcast episode of Good Hang with Amy Polar, the two Saturday Night Live alums reflect on when Andy first met his now wife, musician Joanna Newsome. I kind of remember I was I felt like I was around during the courtship chip. I remember specifically one night walking you home. We were all out at a bar and talking about how I had just started dating her and you were awesome about it. You were head over heels right away. I was gone. Andy and Joanna, who tied the knot in 2013, share two daughters together whose names they haven’t made public, with the 46-year-old going on to reveal how becoming parents changed their marriage. Obviously, having kids changes things. Yeah. Cuz your responsibilities shift, your sleep schedule, but obviously a million other things. But it still feels like anytime there’s a pocket of time where it’s just us, it still feels like we’re getting away with something, like we’re having a sleepover and it’s fun and there’s no one I would rather be hanging out with and chatting with. And it’s it’s amazing. I’m I feel really lucky to get to share my life with her. However, Andy believes one of the reasons their relationship has stayed so strong is the appreciation they have for each other’s careers. I think a lot of people understood that from my perspective. I think some people at first were like, “She likes that stuff that he does.” But the truth is she she does and did. And like her and her siblings are goofballs together and love comedy. Yeah. And it just I couldn’t believe my luck that that was the case. [Music]
