Natasha Archer is definitely someone you would want in your corner. With over a decade’s experience as Kate Middleton’s right-hand woman (and the unofficial stylist said to be responsible for revolutionising Catherine’s wardrobe), Archer has long been crucial to the smooth running of Kensington Palace. From royal tours to hospital wards, her role as mastermind and trusted confidant has seen her work her way up through the ranks of the royal inner circle. No wonder, then, that society is aswirl about her newest endeavour after leaving her job as senior private executive assistant to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

What’s next for Natasha Archer? The mother-of-two is switching her focus to ‘private luxury consultancy’, according to a swanky new Instagram account. @natashaarcher is already building up the follower account, and elsewhere, a new website promises more information ‘coming soon’, offering would-be clients looking for a dash of royal energy a chance to join a mailing list.

What might that royal touch entail? £1 billion for the British economy, naturally. While Natasha Archer is surely not 100 per cent responsible for the ‘Kate Effect’ (where clothes worn by the Princess of Wales see such an uptick in sales that it seems to swing the pendulum of the nation’s fiscal policy), she is widely credited for overhauling Catherine’s style in the early years of the future queen’s royal career.
